That’s normal
Solo exploration gives you an opportunity to learn more about your own preferences without putting pressure on your partner to always be available at exactly the same time.
And knowing what YOU enjoy can actually make communicating with a partner easier.
You can also choose to bring that exploration into your relationship.
Some couples shop together. Some introduce toys during their time together. Others simply talk about what they’ve discovered they enjoy.
Sleeves and strokers may be designed with solo use in mind, but they can absolutely become something couples explore together too.
There isn’t one correct way to explore.
What matters is that everyone involved feels comfortable, respected, and able to communicate what they do and don’t enjoy.
